Research

I am conducting research in the CSCW (Computer-Supported Cooperative Work) domain.

I am interested in the design of socio-technical systems. It consists in defining systems to support existing collective practices or designing collective activities. My research work is interdisciplinary and offers reflections, analyses and design approaches for the definition of new products and services for supporting collectives.

The main application domains that I am interested in are

- Healthcare, and in particular the coordination among diverse practicioners belonging to different organizations. 
- The industry, and in particular its digital transformation, and how workers cope with the evolution of practices and the introduction of new systems (IoT, Digital Twin, Augmented Reality, ...)
- Grassroot communities, and in particular the role that technology can play to support their activities. I am for instance interested in the maker movement, and the collaborative economy phenomenon (from a platform point of view).
