About myself
After a long career under various uniforms (Army, French National Police: "Préfecture de Police", Border Police, Riot-Control, Counter-terrorism and intervention, International Police Cooperation, Diplomatic Security) and a 10 years stint as a private company manager and operator in the former USSR, I joined the security services of the European Parliament. My academic background has been initially related to my job (Military and, later, Police Academies with a specialty in Computer Sciences and electronic intelligence / OSINT). I later moved to Psychology with a degree in Social Psychology, and a Master in International Security and Defence / Political Psychology. I also hold various technical qualifications, certifications and brevets in risk management, project management, safety and security.
I have been an instructor in special police tactics, crisis reaction, OSINT and other security related topics since 1989.
I am fluent in French, English, Latvian and Russian and can communicate in German and Italian.
