The project

Presentation

ET-LIOS is an 18-month project that will develop and network a digital infrastructure for virtualization of software solutions. These infrastructures will also host educational content produced to serve scientific and technological training.

As part of this project, the ambition is to pool the experiences acquired in the various member establishments of GIS S.mart during the Covid19 period in terms of distance education and continuity of training in the technological and scientific fields, in particular for the subjects of the Industry of the Future which are :

  • 3D design-simulation-prototyping (A)
  • Advanced manufacturing and metrology (B)
  • E-Maintenance of cyber-physical production systems (C)
  • Digital twin and virtual commissioning of automated production systems (D)
  • Intelligent systems and multiphysics modeling (E)
  • Sustainable and responsible engineering (F)

The UTT is the institution in charge of the "Sustainable and responsible engineering" module.

Main goal

The main objective of the ET-LIOS project is to provide suitable platforms and resources for a hybridization of scientific and technological teaching or even, if the evolution of the health situation warrants it again, a complete remote switchover. The specific nature of technological education and the need to access machines and equipment of an industrial nature make this issue even more crucial and impacting in order to keep the teaching time that we consider essential on technological resources while ensuring the initiation, preparation and distancing time restitution.

Regarding the F module, It aims to develop educational capsules intended for different formations, including notions of ecology and sustainability inside it. In the end, the goal is to put all these content in a cloud called "Eco-cloud".
